Podcast: Somebody's not gonna make it
Christopher Morel doesn't want the Cubs to be one of those teams
Bally Senior MLB Writer David Brown is back on the podcast as the guys look at the playoff races and try to figure out who the odd teams out in each league are going to be. And, just a couple of minutes in, Christopher Morel interrupts the proceedings by hitting a walk-off homer, taking off all his clothes and helping save the Cubs season. They discuss how baseball should redeploy Shohei Ohtani now that the Angels have completely crapped the bed, and suggest a whole bunch of new rules that would make the playoffs more fun, even if the rules themselves would be an abomination of the game we all love.
The Cubs have to make hay against the crap teams on their schedule and getting outplayed why the White Sox for 16 innings wasn’t a good way to start. But Christopher Morel turned things around in a hurry.
Here are Hall of Famer Pat Hughes and former Cub and All-Star Ron Coomer calling it.
Here it is in Spanish.
Here’s our old pal Len Kasper, who must have been at the game just calling it to whoever was sitting next to him or something. Anybody know what Len does for a living these days?
And, ballpark cam remains undefeated.
I don't care if Marquee required formal attire w/ cummerbund...moving from Cubs TV to Sox radio is one of the most insane career moves in media history.
